Don't Eat Your Idols was a participatory performance piece calling into question the cult of celebrity and the ways it impinges on personal health and wellness. I cast molds of Gwyneth Paltrow's head in three foods forbidden from her cleanse (sugar, butter, and corn) and incorporated them into a pseudo-religious ritual. I had volunteers confess their culinary sins and pledge their eternal stomachs to Gwyneth before destroying their false idols and partaking of Her body and blood (homemade kale paper and beet juice).
